Driving the Agroecological Transition

On Thursday, 20 October, 8.00-9.30 a.m. UTC-4, the Agroecology TPP together with Alliance Bioversity International – CIAT, CIFOR-ICRAF, and the Gund Institute – University of Vermont, is hosting an open webinar on ‘Driving the Agroecological Transition’. The webinar will mark the launch of the four-year CGIAR’s Agroecological Transitions research program.

The upcoming webinar sets out to explore the existing tools and solutions that can help ensure the agroecological transition around the world. In particular, it will introduce the audience to the TRANSITIONS program and exlain:

  • How the development and use of metrics for agroecology can help guide policy and investment, all the while promoting a robust vision, measurement, and accountability;
  • The importance of digital tools for rapid and large-scale technical assistance and performance assessment at low costs;

The role of the private and public sector in accelerating investment and incentives for agroecology.
